Rats carry diseases such as leptospirosis (Weil’s disease) and salmonella. They contaminate animal feed, bedding & surfaces with urine & droppings, creating real risks for people & livestock.

Electrical & Fire Risk

Constant gnawing damages cables, control boxes, insulation & agricultrual equipment. This increases the chance of shorts and barn fires, and leads to costly downtime when equipment fails.

Feed Loss & Structural Damage

Infestations spoil grain and attract larger populations. Burrowing undermines slabs, floors and pens, creating trip hazards for people and animals and long-term repair costs.

Is it really free?

Yes, my service is completely free — you won’t have to pay me anything. You can make a contribution but this is not required.

Are you insured?

Yes, I’m fully insured. However, in all my years of shooting, this has never been necessary as safety is always the number one priority.

What do you need from me?

Just permission to be on your land. You must be the landowner or leaseholder to grant permission. During my visit, I’ll ask you to sign a simple consent form confirming you’ve given permission for me to shoot on your land.
